  • 2024 Curationist Critics of Color Residency

    As a 2024 Curationist Critic of Color, I will work with editors and digital archivists to develop editorial features focused on public domain art and cultural heritage to elevate underrepresented stories from these collections. Follow my work on the Curationist website.

  • Earth, Wind & Fire: Annual EFA RBPMW Members Exhibition

    My monotype print “Spring Dreams” (2024) will be featured in Earth, Wind & Fire, the Annual EFA Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop Members Exhibition. The exhibition will be on view from April 18 - May 31, 2024. The theme of the exhibition is “Earth Day”, and it will be followed by a series of community events.

  • “Build Your Books”: Early Black Artists’ Books on Display

    As a 2024 Research Fellow at the Center for Book Art, my research showed that Black artists have contributed to the landscape of artists’ books since the very beginnings of the medium in the 20th century. These artists’ books were infused with themes of connection, political identity, and social justice and displayed a richly Black abstract aestheticism. In this talk, I explore these themes by looking at two early artist’s book exhibitions that centered Black artists.
